Summer, the time when citrus comes to life and Colognes are unleashed! With so many options it’s hard to know which to go for. Well allow me to give you the options I’m reaching for this summer.

Acqua Di Parma Essenza – Acqua Di Parma make amazing Colognes, and this one is the pick of the bunch with neroli, bergamot and grapefruit.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino – Beautiful and fresh. The typical fresh out of the shower smell. The real party trick of Neroli Portofino is the longevity, I’ll easily get 8+ hours which is fantastic for this type of scent.

Creed Aventus – You can’t go wrong with Aventus any time of year really. A Swiss army knife of a fragrance that suits all occasions and all seasons. Universally adored, Aventus is a great choice for this summer.

Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance – A stunning blend of lemon, mint and bergamot. I get fantastic longevity from this one, and love every moment of it. Mint is becoming one of my favourite notes.

Le Labo Bergamote 22 – Possibly the king of bergamot fragrances! Beautiful blend of bergamot, vetiver and grapefruit with cedar and musk making this a unique and fantastic option.
Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio – Your eyes aren’t deceiving you! AdG has been popular for years for a reason. Is it unique? No. Will you smell like others? Possibly. Does it work great in the heat? Yes!

Terre D’Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche – A flanker of the original Terre d’hermes. A beautiful refreshing blast of citrus. To my nose it’s like a greatest hits of Jean Claude Ellena’s citrus fragrances.

Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine – I love Atelier Cologne and their approach. This one is like wearing a fresh glass of orange juice. Have you ever wanted to smell like a glass of fresh orange juice? Well you should, it’s great!

Byredo Pulp – Described by many as rotten fruit, don’t be put off. This is a dense fruit blast, with amazing projection and longevity on me. A small amount of this will go a long way. Does amazingly in the summer heat!
