Today I’m wearing Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford. With dominant notes of leather, raspberry, suede and saffron. This one has accompanied me to a wedding reception, and it’s absolutely suited to the occasion. This is a fragrance that has a quality I look for, it makes me feel fantastic. Tuscan Leather opens with all the notes on offer straight away, and they remain throughout. Despite being the epitome of linear, this is without doubt one of the most decadent fragrances I own. The leather, raspberry, suede and saffron fill the room as a scent cloud builds from as little as one spray! The performance is outrageous on my skin, filling rooms and lasting up to 24 hours on skin (I do wash) and pretty much a lifetime on clothing (I wash those too). There are many similar smelling fragrances around, which I plan on sniffing and posting my thoughts. I have tried Golden Boy, which whilst being a great fragrance, isn’t that similar to my nose and you could justify owning both (keep your eyes peeled for that one soon). So Tuscan Leather is definitely my formal fragrance!
