Creed have announced that they will be releasing a new fragrance to celebrate the opening of their new London boutique, in Mayfair of course.
Now that was an exciting prospect already, but it gets better!
Let’s go back in time, to 1936 when Creed was created for King Edward VIII. A blend of British gin, Scottish pine, Canadian cedar, Jamaican lime. It was relaunched in 2009 as a limited edition, and has been very sought after ever since.
Now here’s the exciting bit! Royal Mayfair is new name for Windsor! We can only hope this isn’t just a limited run, as the prices are currently very high on the initial batch. The 120ml is listed at $475 on the Creed website…ouch!
Fingers crossed I may be able to get my nose on this one soon, and of course I’ll be posting my thoughts.
