Today I’m sampling Mojito Chypre by Pierre Guillaume – part of the Cruise Collection from Parfumerie Generale. With dominant notes of strawberry, mint and lime. As well as stand out notes in the base of oakmoss and patchouli. I had high hopes of this one, the note break down sounded fantastic and I really thought I would love it. However on initial spray i was greeted by a sickly sweet strawberry note that bought my hope down to earth. Fortunately the strawberry settles down fairly quickly, but still remains the dominant note throughout. From the small spray I sampled from, projection seemed decent but longevity may be questionable. I couldn’t say for sure without a full wear, but I’m not sure I dare go the full strawberry!
