Honour Man by Amouage

Today I’m sampling Honour Man by Amouage. With dominant notes of pink pepper, black pepper, incense, geranium and vetiver. This one opens with a blast of pepper, something I’m getting used to this week. The mixture of pink and black pepper settles after around 5 mins, when the beautiful Amouage incense note comes through. The pepper and incense remains throughout the life of the fragrance, although deeper into the dry down I’m picking up on the geranium and vetiver more. Also there’s an added bit of spice coming from nutmeg, it’s never overwhelming. Rather it sits in the background, and comes through occasionally to remind you it’s there. This isn’t my favourite from the line, however it is one to try for any pepper fans. Unfortunately I find pepper dominant scents can become pretty tiresome. They just don’t quit and never seem to evolve much on my skin. Can’t love them all though, the sampling goes on!
